Absolut Vodka, Kahlua, coffee concentrate, fresh ginger and Chinese five spice syrup. 

First take a cocktail shaker. Fill the shaker with cubed ice and add The Pharmaceutical Stimulant - either in part, or full, depending on how many you are serving. Seal and shake with considerable vigour. Strain the frothy contents into your cocktail glasses.

Now it is commonly thought that a cup of Lightning, when served in a tall slim glass with a mere splash of chilled soda water and complete with cube ice, may go some way towards improving cognisance.   

Beefeater London Dry Gin, Lillet Blanc, fresh pink grapefruit, lemon, passion fruit and vanilla syrup. 

Serve in a tall glass full of cubed ice. Splash of chilled sparkling water on top - and stir. We like to garnish with something striking like pineapple leaves but, if nothing else presents itself, even a freshly cut wedge of orange will be a bright and fragrant garnish.
